The deeper they go down the Abyss, the worse their conditions become.
When Ara voices her concerns, Eve tells a story and gives her opinion.

Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Zero: Hmmm, let's see. This is the right direction, but it's blocked. Let's go around this way.
  • Eve: You have quite a wide search range, Zero.
  • Rena: What about you, Eve? I'm sure you can search a large area with Moby and Remy's help.
  • Eve: Yes, but I don't use it often.
  • Eve: I need to send the drones far away to do a wide-scope area search, but then I can't help them if they are attacked.
  • Eve: In contrast, a situation in which an enemy appears in front of me after I sent my drones away is not ideal as well.
  • Elsword: I cannot imagine Moby and Remy not being by Eve's side.
  • Zero: Haha! That's how amazing this Zero is! I'm honored to be complimented by the Queen of Nasod!
  • Rose: Your searching function better be good as a navigator. Unlike Eve's drones, you're useless in battle.
  • Zero: What do you mean? I'm not useless in battle!
  • Rose: Oh? How so?
  • Zero: I keep my distance while following to make sure you can focus on battle! Do you know how difficult that is?
  • Rose: That's amazing. I have to agree. You're ability to run away in an emergency greatly outshines your ability to search.
  • Noah: ... That machine is amazing. If only you could move around on your own, Clamor.
  • Clamor: I admit, I'd love to move around feely, but what if I get separated from you? I'd feel much better by your side like this.
  • Noah: Do you feel better now?
  • Clamor: Of course not. Watch your step over there, and keep your eyes ahead. You might fall over.
  • Ain: Haha, the ground is uneven. We do have to hurry, but everyone watch your step.
  • Ara: .......
  • Eve: Ara, you haven't said anything. Is something on your mind?
  • Ara: Oh, yes. I am slightly worried.
  • Eve: Can you tell me what you're worried about?
  • Ara: Ah... Sure. Somene told me, when I had no idea what to do moving forward.
  • Ara: What you believe as justice was established by someone with power. So you must pave your path with your own hands.
  • Ara: ... She said power, was an important standard in determining justice.
  • Ain: Sounds harsh.
  • Ara: Haha, maybe. I'm sure she was only trying to get her point across.
  • Ara: But the more I thought about the advice, the more I questioned if I were supposed to interpret at face value.
  • Ara: Perhaps Eun wanted to tell me I have to know how to live doing what I want to do.
  • Ara: So I was looking back, to see if I acted as if I were the center of balance.
  • Eve: Center of balance...
  • Eve: Ara, can I tell you something?
  • Ara: Sure! What is it?
  • Eve: It's the reason why the Nasod War broke out. Adam learned that humans' reckless Nasod production greatly reduced El energy.
  • Eve: He believed further abuse would lead to extinction, so he prepared an army and gave humans the ultimatum.
  • Eve: But, as you know, the result was disastrous.
  • Ain: The war between Nasods and humans led to even more abuse of the power of the El, and led to unprecedented tragedy.
  • Eve: Adam's judgement was logical. Massive production of Nasods would lead to accelerated consumption of El enrgy, leading to sure extinction.
  • Eve: Foolish, greedy humans, unaware of the future right before their noses...
  • Eve: He would have thought it appropriate to take away their control over the Nasods.
  • Eve: But... We all know what his decision led to.
  • Ara: Mutual destruction... Everyone suffered in the end.
  • Eve: I have thought about this for a long time. How I would resolve the issue if I'm faced with the same dilemma.
  • Elsword: ... Did you find an answer?
  • Eve: No. But... I realized Adam made one crucial mistake.
  • Eve: That he thought he was an observer standing outside the balance.
  • Ara: The balance...
  • Eve: Adam tried to resolve the issue himself, and believed himself in a position to do so.
  • Eve: But in the end, he, the humans, and the Nasods are all part of this world.
  • Eve: ... You could say, Adam's mistake was miscommunication.
  • Ara: .......
  • Ara: I usually like to take a step back and observe. I keep my opinion to myself, because I've been taught to be cautious.
  • Ara: But when I heard the advice... I thought I could have purposefully written myself out of the occasion.
  • Ara: Staying silent when determining what is just... In the end, means you, yourself, don't bring anything to the table.
  • Ara: Conversation... My will, and the determination to express myself and move forward.
  • Ara: What's important wasn't power, after all.
  • Eve: That might not always be the case. Sometimes, power can be more important than anything else.
  • Ara: I too, am being on top of a balance, with my will and value on trial.
  • Eve: Sometimes, you might be the neutral party acting as the judge.
  • Ara: But wherever the balance tilts may not necessarily mean it's right.
  • Ara: Do you think it's arrogant to think a mere human on the balance seek true justice?
  • Eve: That would mean the only just being is god.
  • Eve: Ara, you and I don't share everything in common.
  • Eve: Still, I don't think my goal to rebuild the Nasod Kingdom and to find a path of harmony differs too greatly from your own path.
  • Elsword: ... We're all here looking for a better path.
  • Elsword: ... Sorry to interrupt, but I think we're almost there.
  • Ain: The energy I sensed... You're right. It's very close.
  • Rena: Everyone, get ready and brace yourselves.
  • Noah: Yes!

It may look beautiful, but this is the Abyss. Nothing's safe in the Abyss. There's no telling what Ran might have done.

After looking at the strange creature, everyone looks at what remains of the magic creature.

Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Eve: I feel something familiar. Is it just me...?
  • Rose: Rena! Watch out!
  • Rena: Took care of it! I'm alright!
  • (PSSHH...)
  • Elsword: Oof, it's exploding again. Take cover!
  • (BOOM!)
  • Noah: Ugh! Cough, cough!
  • Ain: This is a mess. What is that? I didn't even know it was alive before we got close.
  • Ara: At the very least, we know Ran's not here, and that's not the Dark El.
  • Eve: Yes. I believe it was created by condensing Varnimyr's mystic stones.
  • Rena: He sure did go all over the place. This is not going to be easy.
  • Noah: The Moon El... Even if it's just a shell, I don't want to see it being used like this.
  • Elsword: That thing is guarding the fake El. Is that also Ran's lackey?
  • Eve: You can't see it right now, because it's covered... But I'm worried about the crack on the fake El.
  • Rena: Red Demon King! Do you have a visual from up there?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Hm... I can't see all the details, because most of the trace is gone, but I believe that's a spell used in sacrifice rituals.
  • Elsword: Sacrifice?!
  • Rose: Ugh, is that safe? We're fighting inside the circle!
  • Rena: It should be fine! I don't sense anything happening right now.
  • Clamor: She's right. It's a magic circle that activated and served its purpose. You don't have to worry about being affected by it.
  • Eve: But... It can't be made for anything good.
  • Clamor: A sacrifice was given to something, which means there's a recipient. I wonder who that would be.
  • Clamor: Or, should I say 'what'...
  • Ara: Ran is the only one who could have done this.
  • Eve: We checked that Ran is somewhere to be found. That means he left the fake El and did something, then left.
  • Eve: Perhaps... the fake El was used to expand the Abyss?
  • Ain: I think so, too. No matter how resourceful that damn demon is, I don't think he has the power of expand the Abyss.
  • Rena: The sacrifice ritual. It's been activated, and the power was leaked due to the crack on the fake El... Eve, I think your prediction is right.
  • Noah: It was used as a sacrifice to the Abyss...
  • Elsword: I'm glad we figured that out. But that still leaves the most important question.
  • Ain: What is that bug that's attached to the fake El?

  • Noah: (What is this? It feels cold... and lonely.)
  • Rose: Elsword! Watch that mineral!
  • Elsword: Ugh, I can't! It's too late for me to take care of it!
  • (FLING!)
  • Rena: Tada! I took care of it!
  • Ain: Great timing! That was amazing, Ms. Elf.
  • Rena: Huhu, thank you for your ardent support!
  • Rena: (Raven was right. Everyone slowed down, but I'm not feeling any different.)
  • Rena: (Actually, I feel lighter as time pass by. Strange...)
  • Rena: (I was more sensitive to demonic energy than anyone before the Abyss.)
  • Rena: (Am I adapting to demonic energy?)
  • Rena: (.......)
  • Rena: ... Alright, gang! Let's push it through! There must be a way to get around this!
  • Ara: That creature seems to be communicating something. Is anyone else feeling this?
  • Noah: Yes. It sounds like a sorrowful cry...
  • Eve: It's ultrasonic waves. From the energy, it's no ordinary creature.
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Hm... Mm...? Oh! I remember now. I haven't seen a live one before, so I wasn't sure.
  • Ain: Do you know what that is?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: It's a Myuriconus. I thought it went completely extinct, but I guess there was still one around.
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Myuriconus is an ancient creature with powerful life force. Some say, it's the most primal form of dragons.
  • Clamor: (Noah, hear that? A dragon!)
  • Noah: (Shh, we should listen.)
  • Rose: So it was known to be extinct. Then I wonder what this one's doing ehre?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Hm, maybe it fell when it was still a hatchling? Myuriconus stop growing and falls to a slumber when the surrounding environment is terrible.
  • Rena: Almost like a seed that doesn't sprout until it's in the right environment...
  • Ara: So it's still a baby despite its size?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Even if it's a hatchling, it's probably older than me or Luciela!
  • Noah: Don't you know anything useful to handle this thing?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: You're already looking for a hint?
  • Rena: Are we playing twenty questions now? I'd like to remind you that we're taking care of your mess.
  • Ain: Ah! I think I understand why Ms. Demon always gripes whenever she sees you.
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Haha, don't be like that. I don't actually know much. I'll let you know if I remember anything.
  • Rose: He really does whatever he pleases... Oh well. Let's try to figure out something based on what we've learned so far.

  • Rena: ...... Hey... I might be mistaken but...
  • Rena: Is it me... Or is the energy from the fake El fading?
  • Ain: It's devouring it.
  • Elsword: No! What are you doing! Shoo! Go away!
  • Ain: Strange. If it's protecting the fake El under that demon's orders, it shouldn't act like that.
  • Rose: Maybe it's not under Ran. Didn't Lu say there are monsters in the Abyss?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Like Abyss Worshipers? But that one there is not an Abyss monster.
  • Elsword: Can you talk to it? You're the lord of this land, maybe it will listen to you.
  • Red Demon King's Eye: Hahaha, as if. Just because it lives here, doesn't mean we can communicate with each other.
  • Ara: If you can talk to it, Ran shouldn't be able to as well. Then it's probably not acting under Ran's orders.
  • Rena: Then what do we do? It's still eating away, and our attacks are barely doing anything.
  • Ain: Hm. Then let's leave it be.
  • (NIBBLE, NIBBLE.)
  • Ara: Is this alright...? I know it's just a fake, but should we leave it like that?
  • Ain: We are no longer obligated to retrieve it now that we know it's fake. At least the fake El will be gone if we let it get absorbed.
  • Noah: What if it turns into something even more terrifying after absorbing everything?
  • Elsword: Even if it becomes stronger, it's still a hatchling. We should be able to defeat it, no problem. Let's observe for now.
  • (SHATTER!)
  • Myuriconus: (KEE-!)
  • (SLAM!)
  • Noah: Oof, not again...
  • Rena: It's faster now, so it's harder to deal with, but I don't think it's trying to attack us.
  • Rose: What is happening? It looks like it's in pain.
  • Rose: It's chasing us one moment as if it wants to play, then the next, it will convulse and slam itself on the wall or on the ground...
  • Zero: I don't like this 'play'. My life is in danger!
  • Myuriconus: KEERURU KEERU!
  • (SLAM!)
  • Noah: Stop it! Why are you doing this!
  • Myuriconus: KEERURU... KEE.
  • Rena: Oooh, that's gotta hurt.
  • Noah: I don't think it can control its movement.
  • Ain: That too, but its movement itself is unnatural. There must be something wrong with it.
  • Rose: We're all moving unnaturally because of the effect of the Abyss.
  • Eve: ... Even though it was supposed to slumber in an unfit environment, this creature still woke up even in the Abyss.
  • Elsword: Then this one must have woken up because of the energy of the fake El.
  • Elsword: Even after absorbing the power, the Abyss is still posing a threat.
  • Noah: How sad... Like a butterfly trapped inside a bottle.
  • Zero: Even though that butterfly take out humans and destroys pillars with a flap of its wings.
  • Rena: ... I suppose we're in some ways responsible for it. To think, failing to capture Ran that time would have a ripple effect like this.
  • Elsword: We wouldn't have entered the Abyss in the first place.
  • Noah: Can we... Find some other way? Maybe we can avoid it.
  • Eve: I understand why you would pity this creature...
  • Ain: But that doesn't mean it won't spell trouble for us. Even if we manage to avoid it, it can still follow us with good enough senses.
  • Eve: And now, there's a possibility of it being exploited by Ran, since it absorbed the power of the fake El.
  • Myuriconus: (KEERURU....)
  • Ara: How sad. If it weren't for the time and location... We could have resolved this peacefully.
  • Rose: If the creature cannot handle this environment, it might be better to bestow this creature a painless death.
  • Ara: (It's unfortunate... But is this really fine...?)
  • Ara: (This is a matter that can lead to losing a friend, or the world. I cannot act for the sole reason that I feel pity for this creature.)
  • Ara: (Let's think. My thoughts... My will...)
  • Ara: (A way to resolve this situation to carry them out...)
  • Ara: ... I want to lead this one outside. Can you give me some time?
  • Ara: Even if we defeat it here, the energy of the fake El that the Myuriconus absorbed will remain in the Abyss and affect it.
  • Ara: The only way to get rid of it completely in a way not to affect the Abyss is to take this creature outside.
  • Eve: It's not completely unfeasible. The limit of the eye, and the effects of the Abyss...
  • Eve: If you consider everything, there is one person who can take this creature outside.
  • Rena: Do you mean to lure the creature out yourself? I object.
  • Rena: It's going to take along time going back and forth, and if the Abyss Worshipper attack on the way, you wouldn't be able to lose them on your own.
  • Elsword: .......
  • Ain: What do you think, Elsword?
  • Elsword: I get what everyone's saying. I want to set this guy free too.
  • Elsword: If we are successful in our plan, this one would disappear with the Abyss.
  • Elsword: ... We came here to make sure Elrios won't go through the same things again. We made sure to keep the sacrifice to the minimum since we came to the Demon Realm.
  • Elsword: I don't want anyone to go through what we had. No matter who it might be.
  • Elsword: We might be in a hurry, but let's not make a hasty decision. Someone's life depends on it.
  • Clamor: .......
  • Elsword: Ara, you thought of a way, didn't you?
  • Ara: Yes, but I need to check with Rose and Zero on whether or not it would work.
  • Zero: Huh? Me?
  • Rena: Then you need someone to keep it distracted? I'll go. Are you with me, Ain?
  • Ain: Alright.
  • Elsword: We'll leave it to you. But hurry, we don't have much time.
  • Ara: Yes!

  • Red Demon King's Eye: I don't know why you have to make this so complicated when you could have defeated it eons ago. You're starting to bore me.
  • Noah: I believe we should avoid conflict whenever we can. Even if it is more work.
  • Rose: So... What is your plan, Ara?
  • Ara: Um... I thought Zero could lure Myuriconus himself.
  • Zero: What? All by myself?
  • Rose: Hm? Oh...
  • Rose: Aha! I understand. It's a very good plan.
  • Zero: Wait, hold up! What plan? Don't leave me hanging!
  • Rose: Let's break this down, one by one. First, your presence adds nothing to the battlefield.
  • Zero: Hmph, sorry.
  • Rose: Second, you are not affected by the Abyss because he's a machine.
  • Rose: Third, you are somewhat fast... And you won't be easily captured by the worshippers since you don't have to scale walls.
  • Zero: I guess... I do know the exit route since I mapped out the path we passed.
  • Zero: But what about the time it takes for me to go back and forth?
  • Rose: You don't have to come back. Please be on standby with the Red Demon King outside the Abyss.
  • Zero: You seem too eager to get rid of me. Hmph! All because I'm no use in battle.
  • Rose: It's beneficial in every way. We can send Myuriconus out, making sure Ran can't exploit it.
  • Eve: As Ara said, we don't know how the energy absorbed by Myuriconus will affect the Abyss even if we defeat it.
  • Rose: And we can escape from the guilt of harming that poor young creature.
  • Zero: I thought it was older than the Red Demon King!
  • Rose: And... If I... or we fail to return from the Abyss...
  • Rose: I can be at ease knowing you'd be there. When that happens, please let the others know based on the information we've collected so far. To those in Elrios, and the palace.
  • Rose: We have permission to use the portal from the White-Ghost King, so you can head there immediately if something happens.
  • Zero: What?! You can tell me something like that!
  • Rose: This mission is that important.
  • Noah: I see! I haven't thought about that. If we fail... there's no one to give them the news.
  • Ara: Please, Zero. This is something only you can do.
  • Zero: Sigh... I guess you all have a point. If we don't make it out of here, everything we did will be for nothing.
  • Zero: If Ran becomes stronger and proceeds with the invasion, Elrios will be faced with demons without warning.
  • Zero: Tsk, I have to admit, this is the most strategic plan.
  • Rose: Then you're in?
  • Eve: Run away well, Zero. We'll tire it out more to make it easier for you.

  • Eve: Then I'll add something to make sure its focus is all on Zero.
  • Rose: I'll hlep too. How about making him shine and make noise?
  • Zero: Hey! I don't want to the entire Abyss to be after me!
  • Ara: Now, Noah. I'll explain the plan to Rena. Will you tell the other two of the plan?
  • Noah: Yes, I will!
  • Clamor: ... I'm glad we were able to find a way.
  • Noah: Yeah. I'm glad we found a better path. I hope this works out.
  • Clamor: Yup! Dragons are special, after all!
  • Noah: You seem kind of obsessed with dragons.
  • Clamor: Dragons are perfect creatures!
  • Elsword: Ain! I'll lure it over that side!
  • Noah: Um! Elsword...
  • Noah: Wha, what do I call him? Mr. Elsword? Sir Elsword?
  • Clamor: Just call him Elsword.
  • Noah: But we're not that close yet...
  • Clamor: You have to practice opening up! You can't always expect someone else to come up to you.
  • Noah: I know I have to work on it, but isn't it rude to call him by his name without permission?
  • Elsword: Noah?! Did you decide everything?
  • Noah: Ah! Er, yes! Missir Elsword!
  • Noah: (Noo! I didn't mean to say that!)
  • Elsword: What? Gah!
  • Ain: Elsword! The current... Oops, too late.
  • Noah: I'm sorry! It, er, was a mistake!
  • Clamor: Bwahahaha! Now that is a title I've never heard of. Hahaha!
  • Noah: I want to disappear...
  • Ain: He's just caught in a current. He'll be back. Did you find a way to send this creature out?
  • Noah: Ah, yes!

  • Rose: He'll be fine. Zero is a master at running away.
  • Red Demon King's Eye: You actually did it! How fascinating. I'm starting to understand why Luciela hangs around with you guys.
  • Elsword: What's fascinating?
  • Red Demon King's Eye: The part where you look for strange and troublesome ways to resolve the situation.
  • Elsword: ... This is normal for us.
  • Ain: Now that everything's settled, shall we go meet up with others?
  • Rena: I'm surprised they didn't come find us. I thought they would be done much faster.
  • Eve: Perhaps they're stuck due to an unforeseen circumstance. Let us hurry.
  • Elsword: .......
  • Eve: Elsword? Do you see something?
  • Elsword: Huh? Oh, it's nothing. I feel like someone's calling me ever since we entered the Abyss.
  • Noah: Someone other than us...? What are they saying?
  • Elsword: I don't actually hear anything. It's just a feeling. I think it's because of the Abyss...
  • Elsword: Maybe it's because I'm looking for someone.
  • Eve: Is this about the message from Velder?
  • Elsword: Yeah. Since some people were kidnapped to the Demon Realm, I kept thinking when we'd see them on our journey.
  • Ara: I see. Like the time we found Master Rosso in Varnimyr.
  • Rena: You're right. Elsword was the one who heard Rosso's voice in Varnimyr Tower and insisted we needed to save Rosso.
  • Noah: (So this was the one who found and saved the Fire Master from the Demon Realm...)
  • Elsword: There were those who were captured in Velder, and I thought maybe the Moon Master might be in the Demon Realm as well since we never saw him.
  • Elsword: He might be stuck in a situation like Rosso was...
  • Clamor: ... When I first saw them, I thought they were odd, but underwhelming compared to what we've heard of them.
  • Clamor: I thought it might be the case when we went back to the demon village to warn them, but it really seems like good faith is their biggest motivation.
  • Noah: ... The Moon Master wouldn't be in a place like this.
  • Elsword: I guess it's not likely. A coincident like that doesn't happen every day.
  • Noah: Yes, but... Thank you for considering it.
  • Elsword: About what?
  • Noah: It's nothing.
  • Elsword: Yeah? Ok then. Let's go meet the others, Missir Noah!
  • Rena: Shall we go back the way we came from, or find another way? What do you think? Missir Eve?
  • Eve: Since we don't know the layout, I believe the best course of action is to go back the way we come from, but at a faster pace. You're not tired, are you... Missir Ara?
  • Ara: I am fine as always! Missir Rose, I'll go ahead first!
  • Noah: Ugh! It was a mistake...!
  • Ain: Hahaha, they're teasing you. We need to lift up the mood whenever we can in times like this.
  • Noah: Ahh, I guess so...
