With flashy sword techniques and Rune magic of various attributes, the Rune Master can subdue enemies instantly.

After restoring the El, Elsword felt something different about how mana flowed in his body. Coming in direct contact with the El forcibly activated every bit of dormant mana within him. As time passes, it becomes harder and harder for Elsword to control his mana.

Description
When Elsword was released from the Giant El, Elsword had to try to keep his mana under control, less they go rampage. And when the mysterious voice asked him, "Are you afraid?" it's as if the voice understood what he was going through. Normally, he would have said no, to show a strong front, but he couldn't answer. After coming in contact with the El, his powers were not like before. If this power goes out of control... He was afraid he might harm the very friends who came to save him. But he couldn't just lie around and do nothing. He'll really be useless if he can't even control his own powers, when their enemies grow stronger by the day. It's time to make another decision. "You're doing great." That's what the voice said. It all made sense now. Elsword headed towards the sanctum. "He" was waiting for his answer at the heart of the sanctum.

• The runes used in Rune Master's portrait are written in Elder Futhark, the oldest form of the Germanic Runic Alphabet.
  • Many of the sequences of runes are several consonants strung together in a way that wasn't used to write with this variant of runes. They are likely used here for primarily decorative purposes.
• Rune Master wears a short sleeve jacket that's very similar to the one depicted in Rune Slayer's concept art.
• Although his promotional accessory is a headband, it is categorized as Top Piece instead of Face (Top).
• In this path, Elsword relies more on his magical prowess rather than his innate-El resonance or any external El influence. Due to not having any interaction with El other than the Giant El, Rune Master' is the only path where Elsword's eyes don't change in color.
