In order to investigate the risen water levels in Resiam, [[Penensio]] asks Denka for help. Denka tells the El Search Party that due to the disappearance of the Water Priestess [[Sasha]], the Water El which regulates the area's water, as well as the mechanisms in the [[7-3|Ancient Waterway]] being broken. Upon the El Search Party investigating the waterway, Denka speculates that somebody must have been messing with the machines in the waterway. It is revealed that the Demon Scientist Conrad had been messing with the machines. After defeating Conrad, Denka notices the water levels beginning to return back to normal. Taranvash attacked the El Search Party while they were in the Waterway, Denka believes that the Holy Beast may have gone insane due to the Water Priestess being missing. After Taranvash was defeated, Denka asked the El Search Party to rearrange the reflectors scattered across the Ancient Waterway as he believed they were to key to unlocking the Guardian Stone's secrets.

[[Penensio]] suspects that the Water Temple's location may be connected through the network of tunnels known of [[7-5|Magmanta's Cave]] which Denka firmly agrees with. When the El Search Party reported back from the cave, Denka investigates their report and concludes that the demons are using charms to empower each other. Hearing from [[Daisy]], Denka learned that the El Search Party were able to rescue Red Knight's from the spider's cocoons, Denka suggests the party may hurry as the spiders are likely to feed on the knights if they wait too long.
