Upon advancing to Weapon Taker, a new mechanic becomes available through certain commands and skills.

 Self BuffOverheatSelf BuffOverheat allows you to drain a percentage of an attack's damage from your HP, providing a buff that increases your attack power for a short while. Before unlocking Victory Survival Strategy, this is limited to 2% of your maximum health at a time. Overheat skills can gain additional unique features, including extra range, hits or increased damage dealt.
