유적에서 깨어난 직후부터 노아는 자신의 몸 상태가 예전과 같지 않음을 절감한다. 그 모든 것이 꿈이었을까?
하지만 단순한 악몽으로 치부하기엔 자신이 생각하는 전투 방식과 그걸 좀처럼 따라가지 못하는 몸의 격차가 너무도 명확했다.
이미 예전에 겪어봤던 감각을 전투로 일깨우며, 노아는 자신이 다시 깨어난 이유가 무엇인지 고민한다.

형을 잃고, 있어야 할 장소를 잃었다. 엘의 폭발과 함께 사라진 것들 중엔 이벨른 가의 자제였던 ‘노아 이벨른’도 포함되어 있으리라. 남은 것은 형에 대한 미안함과 홀로 살아남았다는 죄책감뿐.

문득 노아는 자신이 나아갈 길이 하나밖에 없음을 깨닫는다. 이유를 찾으려 들 필요는 처음부터 없었다. 살아남은 자만이 할 수 있는 일이 무엇인지 이미 자신은 알고 있지 않았던가.
복수. 그리고 복수를 통해 형의 넋을 위로하는 것. 설령 몇 번이고 같은 상황에 처한다 하더라도 노아는 그것만이 자신이 살아있는 이유이자 의무라고 마음 깊이 새긴다.

Immediately after waking up in the ruin, Noah realizes his body is not how it used to be. Was everything just a dream? No, but he could tell by how his body struggled to keep up with his usual battle style, that none of this was just a simple nightmare. Attempting to regain his familiar senses through battle, he tries to figure out the reason why he has reawakened.

He lost his brother, and lost the place he was meant to stand in. He believed that himself, a son of the Ebalon family, was among those that were lost in the El Explosion. He was left with nothing but the grief of losing his brother and the guilt of being the only survivor.

Suddenly, he realizes there's only one path he could take. There was no need to search for a reason in the first place. He already knew the only thing a survivor could do.

Take revenge. And through revenge, he will comfort his brother's soul. He believes that no matter how many times he has to go through the same thing, it is his only purpose and reason to live.
