PvP (Player vs. Player) is a feature of Elsword that allows players to battle each other. PvP used to occur in the Sparring Lobby, but official PvP now occurs in the Arena tab (next to dungeons on the UI or through Camilla). Rankings go as follows: No rank, E, D, C, B, A, S, SS, and SSS.

Sparring

Sparring is only accessible through Camilla.
In the sparring lobby, you can choose who to battle. You can also choose all of the settings, which are shown below:

Team Match: A battle that gives each player one life. There must be the same amount of members on each team in order to start.
Team Death Match: A battle that gives team points depending on the number of kills for each team. There can be an uneven amount of players on each team, but the team with less players will be granted a damage and MP buff.(Currently cannot start without equal teams).
Survival: A free-for-all. The player with the most kills in the battle wins. This mode favors the usage of skills such as Generate Black Hole and Wind Ward.

Item Mode: Allows random items to appear on the battlefield which can change the tide of the battle. Most players disable this.
Power Mode: Disables random items from appearing. This prevents item abusers from running and grabbing items.

Playtime: The number of seconds the battle lasts. Many players turn this to the max.

Kills: The number of kills needed in a Team Death Match or Survival Battle in order to win. This option does not appear for Team Match.

Arena

In Arena, you only have two options: 1 vs 1, or 3 vs 3 (used to have 2 vs 2, but was removed). You have the option of excluding two maps from the total map list in Arena Settings. It is always set in item mode.
You start out as a no rank, and you can only get a rank by fighting a certain number of matches. Each time you win, there is a high chance that you will fight a higher rank until you get your actual rank.

The recommended stats for PvP are 20% to 22% attack speed, 20% to 22% movement speed and jump speed, along with 20% accuracy. The rest of the stats are optional, and there are Dual Stat Stones that can help you gain stats without sacrificing too much.
It is recommended to have a Magic Necklace from the Item Mall, but a B slot is not absolutely necessary for every character, though very helpful. For combos, refer to User Created Combos. Note: Some of the combos do require a B slot and/or Magic Necklace.
