Tips and Details
- As the blades spread out as they travel, only tall and wide enough targets are able to take full hits from this skill. On average, it is possible to land all 5 blades and at least 1 afterimage hit per blade on any given enemy with proper positioning.
- Smaller enemies that are too close to you will not take any hits from the Afterimage of Darkness, so stepping back a bit is advised.
- The Shadow of the Abyss sends out a projectile directly ahead in the center of the 5 blades, which also deals damage as it travels. Only wide enough enemies can take full hits from this part as well, and on average the projectile will deal 4 hits.
- When used too close to an enemy the shadow will dash past them before throwing out the projectile and deal only one hit as a result, so backing up a little is again advised.
- This version trades in potential total damage and splash damage (during [Deep Darkness]) for a much faster casting speed and vertical reach.
