The [Deep Darkness] damage increase only affects the additional hits caused by [Deep Darkness], not the entire skill.
The additional duration is properly accounted for when re-casting Pitch Black Moon, so when used with 3 points, the duration of the buff will only be refreshed if the currently remaining duration is less than (3 x 10) + (3 x 5) = 45 seconds.
The Special Active MP usage reduction and [Deep Darkness] damage increase effects will always be re-calculated when Pitch Black Moon is used, even if the duration is unable to refresh.
