Harpoon Spear is unlocked through the Intermediate Branch Skill Quest. The quest can be obtained at Lv.30 from Camilla, the PvP NPC. Harpoon Spear can only be activated in mid-air. It is recommend to use Harpoon Spear at a distance or on a wall to inflict full damage. If using with Core, it will only hit the first enemy that the blasts converge on. As such, the skill can actually cause Core to miss any surviving targets. Using Harpoon Spear directly in front of targets that can gain or currently possess super armor results in lesser damage then expected because they will not be carried by the blast. This is not recommended to be used on targets that can frequently gain or currently possess super armor, since they will not be carried by the blast and may not even get hit by the last blast. This skill is not a good choice for bosses in general, unless the target is small and/or does not frequently cast super armor (i.e. Chloe or Glitter Vanguard). You can ignore this for most bosses, as they can be cornered or have a high hit count requirement before they use super armor. But bosses like Berthe or Ran are not good choices, since they both activate super armor frequently. Overheating this skill will change the animation of the shockwaves to sharp blasts.
