Tips and Details

  • Harpoon Spear is unlocked through the Intermediate Branch Skill Quest.
    • The quest can be obtained at Lv.30 from Camilla, the PvP NPC.
  • Harpoon Spear can only be activated in mid-air.
  • It is recommend to use Harpoon Spear against a wall for full damage.
  • If using with Core, it will only hit the first enemy that the blasts converge on. As such, the skill can actually cause Core to miss any surviving targets.
  • Using Harpoon Spear directly in front of targets that can gain or currently possess super armor could result in lesser damage then expected because they will not be carried by the blast.
    • Against targets with super armor, try using Harpoon Spear at a distance, making sure the final damage hits the target.

Updates

  • 3/29/2012 KR
    • Fixed an error that makes Raven throw the spear onto a platform above Raven instead of on base ground where it was intended.
  • 8/23/2012 KR
    • Increased damage output.
    • Added Overheat feature to the skill.

Trivia

  • The ground wave is similar to Shooting Guardian's Rumble Shot.
  • Overheating this skill will change the animation of the shockwaves to sharp blasts.
  • Has low vertical (but existent) vertical range. An enemy will be sucked in if they are slightly above any of the shots.
  • This skill continues down below if it would run out of room on a platform, making it ineffective to use on enemies that are on ledges (but can still be done).
