Tips and Details
- This skill is affected by El Crystal Spectrum.
- As this skill generates its own force field, you can change the trajectory of the beam with the up/down keys without the use of El Crystal Spectrum.
- The force field will be sustained for a while and used to amplify other beams.
- Giga Stream's own field doubles its damage, so its damage values in correct usage are twice as high as listed in the skill description
- When using Amplify/Spectrum, the effects of the beam are not applied until it passes through the force field(s), so it is recommended that you distance yourself accordingly for maximum effectiveness. However in Induction/Fusion mode, more damage is dealt at point blank range.
- When using Giga Stream in Induction/Fusion mode, the hitbox appears to start from behind Eve; face away from your opponent at point blank range for maximum damage. This is only recommended on stoic targets that won't be pushed away by the lasers and therefore out of their range, as well as the hitbox's range.
- Using this skill on a stoic opponent at point-blank range limits your damage potential substantially.
- An exception to this may be that when used in Fusion Mode inside a large stoic enemy it appears to hit up to an additional 40 times (these extra hits might not be enhanced by Giga Stream's field).
