The Chattering Aura of Spirits does not pierce, but it is capable of dealing splash damage to enemies close by the initial target.
Only your initial casting animation is affected by action speed; the spirits will always fly and attack at the same speed.

The Chattering Spirits appear to be talking to each other and Rena, much like those in Catch Up, with the spirit letters for "W" and "O" flying out of them.
