Deadly Chaser
Story
Ruphus is born on Peita, very young, he was friend with a girl named Yuzura, but this last it disappear. He have a brother, Armond Oxyd. Ruphus lost this parents very early, killed by a dark elf, he haved 7 years ago. Alone with her little brother, Ruphus would have handled Armond becoming a mercenary who use a Destroyer and a silver shooter. More years later, Armond decided to help Ruphus in this job of mercenary, but in a mission, Ruphus found the Dark Elf and start a violent battle against it. Ruphus was very sadistic, the dark elf begged to stopped but Ruphus continue to tortured it to this long and painful death. Armond was scared by this grand brother who loved as and run far away of it.
Recent Story
Ruphus is now a very dangerous mercenary named "The Scarlet Crow", a serial killer who hate the demons and dark elf, whosoever defy Ruphus was exterminate in the field. During a war against Vargos, Ruphus was confront against Braider, the Celestial Knight. This is a violent fight between the two opponents. Very casualty, no one win this fight and asleep during 1 mounth. Sometimes after this event, Ruphus found this brother Armond become guardian of the Velder's door and Yuzura it does not review during longs years. He to remember of Yuzura but this last dont remember of Ruphus, she is amnesic and wants to found this memory, Ruphus cannot refuse to help the young girl. During his pilgrimage, Yuzura will start to love Ruphus... This is a start of love story between a young and pure girl and a mercenary psychopath but friendly man... ?

Trivia
- Deadly Chaser's promo Destroyer bears resemblance to a rifle; with the stock, trigger, and an iron sight on the tip of the cannon visible.
- Unlike all other characters, Chung's in-game model changes after the 2nd job advancement, having him grow much taller than before.
Going from even smaller than Aisha to only being shorter than Raven. - Deadly Chaser is the only character that does not show his primary weapon in any of his official artworks and instead only shows him wielding his Twin Silver Shooters.
- Deadly Chaser was one of the paths chosen by the players to be revamped in 2/14/13 during the series of Class revamp patches.
- Deadly Chaser is the only male job class who utilizes three weapons: Cannon and two Silver Shooters.
