Infernal Blade's summoning cast will deal damage to anything in the path of its swings, including enemies above and behind you.
The defense ignore will ignore the raw defense of an enemy, unlike most other defense ignoring effects that ignore a percentage. This means that it is incredibly potent early on when enemies have lower raw defense, but falls off significantly later in the game.
