*Both the debuff and the buff are continuously reapplied while players are standing within the skill range.
*This skill's MP drain amount and duration are affected by Dark resistance. Together with its mediocre damage, this skill is not very useful in PvP.
*The {{se||Curse}} debuff will not start counting its own duration until {{se|222|Curse of Darkness||ed}} ends, so it will actually last 7 seconds in total after the last hit (or 9 seconds with [[Oz's Dream]]).
**If the opponent is using a Magic Necklace, along with [[Guild Skills|Concentration]], a moderate amount of Dark resistance will cause the opponent to actually gain mana from this skill. Full Dark resistance causes an unimpeded mana gain.
*This skill is useful for trapping mobs, staggering them continuously.
*For some reason, this skill will always gain back the same amount of mana regardless of how many foes you've hit.
**Since this skill hits multiple times, be wary of [[Stoic Thresholds|anti-combo super armor]] in [[Secret Dungeon|secret dungeons]], [[Henir's Time and Space|Henir]], and against bosses and sub-bosses.
