His shining visage soaring from the fierce battlefield made him seem like an angel descended from the sky. Chung helped others endlessly, and everyone expressed gratitude for his benevolent action. Chung too, was genuinely happy from helping others and was offering assistance with all hus heart. In reaction to Chung's will and his benevolent action, the Guardian Stone became even more powerful. The Guardian Stone and the power of the Water El intertwined from deep within in a way it never has before. It shined in a noble blue light like clear stream waters, yet the power of the Water El felt warm like a soft embrace. Chung took care of everyone he needed to protect and granted help where it's most needed like rain in midst of a drought. He let go of his sense of responsibility and spread his happiness to others. He was resolved to become like a sanctuary that never allows anything unjust and embrace anyone who needs protection. As the sanctuary, his power was for everyone and he will shine endlessly for all. Chung headed towards the sanctum. 'He' was waiting for his answer at the heart of the sanctum.

• Dius Aer is Latin for "Divine Air".
• Dius Aer's Freiturnier is modified into lightweight armor, having more cloth instead of armor and his Sanctification mode helmet changes to a mask which only covers his eyes.
• As seen in his path movie, Chung does not follow the El Search Party after the demon invasion in Hamel to search for his father. Instead, he stays behind to heal and protect the people of Hamel.
  • This highlights the subtle difference between Dius Aer and Chung's other paths; while Dius Aer helps others endlessly with a pure heart, setting aside his personal goals, his other paths choose to protect the world while also pursuing his personal objectives, such as saving his father.
  • Like Nyx Pieta, Chung also does not achieve its 3rd job at Elrianode. In this case, Chung's Guardian Stone resonated with the Water El in Hamel, giving him the appearance of an apostle or angel.
    • Despite this, his Class Advancement scene still takes place in the Elrian Sanctum. However, this is likely non-canon.
• As Dius Aer, Chung was able to reach the Guardian Stone's full potential, unlocking the true power of the Water El, which specializes in helping others.
