Tips and Details

Scorpio Symbols will immediately expire on their second hit, making them rather ineffective on groups of enemies, especially when taking [Circulation] effects' inability to produce multiple symbols from the same hit on groups into account.
Scorpio Symbols acts like a combo/active hit, triggering on-hit effects. An effect that strongly requires combo hits, e.g. the El Tear Fragment effect "All Defense for 5 seconds upon attacking" (which also does not work for active skills) won't work for scorpio.
Critical Damage Increase is additive.
Scorpio Symbols stay alive for up to 4 seconds.
