First Job Lines

As of the writing of this post, I have observed (in the NA server) some first jobs of the characters Elsword through Ain have different quick voice lines than their base class, sharing with their second job. I would assume this is the case for all first jobs for those characters. A few examples are shown below:

It may be noted that this may cause some first jobs to uncharacteristically say a line more fitting of their second job, like the base character of LuCiel's first jobs or maybe even Code: Electra.
Sparky Child does not follow this trend, and instead uses her base quick voice lines. This may be to avoid instances of acting out of character as mentioned earlier. Since Ain was the first character to have unique quick voice lines for his first/second job, Elsword through Rose probably have unique first/second job quick voice lines as well because the system is based off of Ain (even if their first jobs don't have a personality shift as large as Ain's first jobs do). Since Laby is a new character, they may have adjusted the system so she receives the new quick voice lines at 2nd job but not 1st job.
To summarize, at the time of the 8/09/18 (KR) / 8/22/18 (NA) update, the first jobs of the characters Elsword through Ain did seem to have unique quick voice lines (from their base class), which were shared with their respective 2nd job class. That was the reasoning behind the trivia point. As of now, those characters still seem to get new quick voice lines at first job. However, Laby does not when she advances to Sparky Child. So the trivia point should have been changed to reflect this.

    • Okay, I think I'm seeing where the conflict between the patch notes of these quick voices being added and what's being stated on this page is coming from. The patch notes say that the quick voice is for 2nd jobs, but as ElXillia has shown, some paths get it at 1st Jobs instead. However, I do not think that all paths get their new quick voice lines at 1st Job, and some of them get theirs at 2nd Job. I think someone should go and test each 1st Job's Quick Voice (except Ain, Laby, and the ones ElXillia has shown since we know for sure where they get theirs) to see which paths get their voice lines at 1st Job and which ones get them at 2nd Job. Okay, as I thought, Elsword through Ain get their new lines upon advancing to 1st Job. You should probably do some investigation of your own before making changes like that. At least from this, I noticed some of the lines have been slightly altered, so that will be on the list of things to update. -ElXillia (talk) 04:24, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
        • I couldn't check because I was busy with event stuff. Still, that's weird. The babel post for that patch notes specifically said 2nd Job. FlareKyn (talk) 05:12, 3 February 2019 (UTC)

Move Request

I think this page should be moved to a sub-page of Character Customization System, since you can customize which quick voice is used for which key. FlareKyn (talk) 06:22, 19 December 2021 (CET)
