KD decrease

So, I checked this page's history and multiple sources were saying that, after the rebalance patch, it was made to decrease knockdown, and not to have a KD of its own...

I'll test it when I get home, but if it's true, then it's fantastic news <3. Both MDA and CN did need a buff like this, anyway. The sources are unclear on if the KD decrease is -0.1 per tick or -1 per tick, though.


Either way, if you combine it with a combo like XXZ~Z (since it wastes a lot of time) and Tesla Shock... is this the birth of an infinite combo?! Either way, it will definitely extend combos by a lot, and CN has trouble with her X-drops...

The only catch is that XXZ~Z + MDA will give the opponent exactly 23667543248764524,314156 MP per second, so it pretty much requires Dark III to be effective. Boo, I liked my Fire III :(

It's not listed on the Knockdown page, but I'm pretty sure XXZ~Z's total KD is really high, so it probably wouldn't allow for an infinite. However, with Metal Dust Aura, Tesla Shock, 0 KD Actives, and probably Wind, you can easily infinite (not that it's worth the MP feeding).

Confirmed

Yes, it does decrease KD per tick now. Apparently it's what Meseki mentioned, about 0.1 per hit. Not a huuuge KD decrease, but still rather significant if you stack it with Tesla Shock, for example.
