Description

Noah and Titania heads to Moonlight Hill to save the people at camp. At the bottom of the hill, Titania suggests splitting up.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Titania: This is the way to Moonlight Hill. You notice how the plants have a different color to them?
  • Titania: The hilltop here, is full of Moon energy. Do you know about Elriabrunnr? This is one of them.
  • Noah: I heard about them. A place where El energy gathers naturally.
  • Noah: I never knew it was possible for an Elriabrunnr to form with an affinity to a specific El element, though.
  • Titania: Yes, well... We should split up here.
  • Noah: Excuse me?
  • Titania: I know I insisted I'd be fine, but it's true that my magic is nothing to brag about. I can't have you distracting me while searching the parameters.
  • Titania: So, we should split up and search for the flowers separately. You can handle yourself, can't you?
  • Noah: But Yuria asked me to protect you.
  • Titania: ... She just worries a lot. I don't require any assistance.
  • Titania: I can't really control the range of my magic. You might end up getting caught in my poisonous spores or vines.
  • Noah: ... I understand. You think it's better to move separately, since I would only get in your way.
  • Titania: Thank you for your understanding. We'll split up here.
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Weapon: ... Strange. Isn't it better to stay together in a situation like this?
  • Noah: .......
  • Weapon: I'm not familiar with this area, so I can't be 100% sure.
  • Noah: .......
  • Weapon: She's quite heartless, leaving a child by himself, even if he is a capable fighter.
  • Noah: .......
  • Weapon: Hm...
  • Weapon: Oh? Why is she coming back?
  • Noah: Huh?
  • Noah: ... There's no one...
  • Noah: Ah...
  • Weapon: I knew it...! You! You can hear my voice!
  • Noah: I can't believe I fell for that... I let my guard down.
  • Weapon: What gives? Why didn't you respond? You were listening all along, weren't you?
  • Noah: Isn't it obvious? You're kind of suspicious...
  • Weapon: I'm not a suspicious person!
  • Noah: You're not exactly a person...
  • Weapon: I might look like a weapon now, but I was originally a person!
  • Weapon: Listen well, kid. I'm Clamor, a scholar of Seven Tower. Because of bad people, I'm now stuck in this weapon.
  • Weapon: So I'm not a suspicious person!
  • Noah: Well...
  • Clamor: Nor am I a suspicious weapon!
  • Noah: I see...
  • Clamor: Sigh, if you thought I was so suspicious, why did you carry me around? You're a weird one, aren't you?
  • Noah: Nothing happened so far. You were a bit loud though.
  • Clamor: And you couldn't respond to me, just once?
  • Noah: I heard I shouldn't respond to evil ego weapons because they lure their wielders and corrupt them.
  • Clamor: ... Kid. Those are demonic weapons. Demonic weapons cannot be found by kids like you, and even if they were, you wouldn't be able to lift them.
  • Clamor: They're not exactly toys. Think of it from their perspective. What good is it, luring a little kid?
  • Clamor: If they're going to lure someone, they might as well lure someone big! Merciless! And...
  • (CLANG)
  • Clamor: Hey! Why did you drop me!
  • Noah: You talk too much. I should just look for another weapon.
  • Clamor: Hey, wait just a moment! You're an impatient one, aren't you? If you leave me here, how are you going to go up that hill? Are you just going to go empty-handed?
  • Noah: There were plenty of weapons in the temple. At the very least, they are going to be less talkative.
  • Clamor: Now, wait just a moment, don't be so rash here...
  • Noah: Why should I take you?
  • Clamor: Well... Well... Um...
  • Noah: You take too long to answer. I'm leaving.
  • Clamor: Alright, alright! I'll shut up! I promise I'll stay quiet!

Clamor asks Noah to explain the current situation. Noah reluctantly gives Clamor a brief explanation when Clamor says he feels uneasy.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Derurung: KYAA-!
  • Noah: Phew... I think we're about halfway up?
  • Clamor: Ugh... Are we done? Is that it?
  • Noah: Yeah... Hey, I'm the one fighting, why are you acting all exhausted?
  • Clamor: Am I not allowed to express my own fatigue? I never had to face monsters where I'm from.
  • Noah: True... I guess you wouldn't have encountered monsters since Elrianode was protected by guards.
  • Clamor: That's right. I'm not used to seeing monsters to begin with, and from a weapon's perspective, the monsters are way too close... What about you, kid? Are you alright?
  • Noah: Well... I'm used to it.
  • Clamor: I see...
  • Clamor: Hey, can I ask you something? I'm still not sure what's going on, and that's making me feel uneasy.
  • Noah: ...What is it? If it's not too troublesome...
  • Clamor: What year is it?
  • Noah: ... Didn't you promise you'd stay quiet?
  • Clamor: Annoyed already?! Just tell me what you know. There's nothing much we can do as we climb up this hill anyway.
  • Clamor: We're already halfway up, so it'll be a lot of work to get a new weapon! Think positively! Now you've got a weapon and a companion, all in one!
  • Noah: This is why you didn't say anything until now...
  • Clamor: You might be busy climbing this hill, but I've got nothing to better to do.
  • Clamor: So how about a heart-to-heart? Not that I have a heart.
  • Noah: Sigh... I can't believe I have to go over everything...
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Clamor: So... What you're saying is, that the El suddenly became unstable and lost control of its power, eventually leading to the Great Explosion...
  • Clamor: ...The Elrian Kingdom was destroyed during the explosion, and now is considered an ancient civilization...
  • Clamor: But recently there were some heroes that restored the El, and awakened Elrianode?
  • Clamor: That means... It's already been at least 1,000 years since I've been stuck like this!
  • Noah: 1,000 years? You're a piece of junk!
  • Clamor: Ahh... I can't believe it's been that long... If what you say is true, then I don't think Seven Tower would be functioning as I'd hoped...
  • Clamor: I suspected as such, when I heard the Landar family is traveling around... But I guess the world renowned Seven Tower is a thing of the past.
  • Noah: You're not wrong. I heard even the El Lady and the Masters are considered a myth these days.
  • Clamor: ... It's to be expected, so much time has passed. I'm surprised you even believe me.
  • Noah: .......
  • Clamor: Ugh... Now what? 1,000 years into the future...
  • Clamor: If only I had a body, I would find out what they did to my research.
  • Noah: They? You mean the people who made you into a weapon?
  • Clamor: Mm. You can say that. You're too young to know the dark, depressing story of adulthood.
  • Noah: I wonder what kind of weapon I should get. I heard there's a good blacksmith nearby in Lanox.
  • Clamor: But! Since you're my partner, I'll let you in a secret.
  • Noah: Since when were we partners.
  • Clamor: Hm... Let's see now, where should I start...
  • Clamor: I was a scholar of Seven Tower. I developed semi-permanent magical items with minimal mana loss.
  • Clamor: One day, a group of fanatics commissioned an order, so I made a blueprint and handed it over. But, it was a trap...
  • Clamor: I was essentially stabbed in the back and ended up like this. Do you understand? So I must find the Order and get my body back.
  • Noah: Fanatics? Order? You don't mean Henir's Order?
  • Clamor: Huh? How did you know?
  • Clamor: Don't tell me... that Henir's Order is still around after 1,000 years?
  • Noah: I'm not sure if I'd say they're 'still around'... Most people probably don't even know they existed.
  • Noah: But I know. Even after destroying the El, and half of Elrios with it, they are still up to something...
  • Noah: I'm chasing the Order, too.
  • Clamor: ... What did the Order do to you?

Noah informs Clamor what the Order did 500 years ago. The two realize they share the same goal and decide to join forces.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Noah: The El Masters protect the El and the El Lady from those who are after them.
  • Noah: And I... had a brother, who was about to become an El Master.
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: But the night before the nomination, my brother was murdered by an Order member. He posed as my brother and deceived everyone.
  • Noah: His vile, despicable deception went unnoticed on the night of the nomination. No one knew, even as he posed himself as the Moon Master.
  • Noah: ... And that, eventually led to the El Explosion.
  • Clamor: This is what the Landar girl was talking about. So that's what happened...
  • Noah: At first, the wind howled, like a raging storm. Then, rain poured down as if there was a hole in the sky until it stopped all of a sudden, only to pour down again.
  • Noah: I was sealed immediately afterwards, so I didn't witness it personally, but I heard Elrios was split in two because of the natural disasters that persisted for months.
  • Noah: I bet Elrios no longer looks like how you remember it.
  • Clamor: A disaster like that... in Elrios?
  • Noah: The accomplishment of the Order.
  • Clamor: I can't believe it... I knew Henir's Order was not exactly composed of sane people, but to do something like that...
  • Clamor: ...Why were you alone at home that night? There was no one to protect you when disaster hit.
  • Noah: It was the night of the Harmony Festival. Everyone was at El Tower. I was sick that night because of the experiments conducted by the Order...
  • Noah: ... I didn't mean to say that... Pretend you didn't hear anything.
  • Clamor: ...I'm sorry. I wasn't trying to hit a sore spot.
  • Noah: I somehow managed to survive that night. If I went to El Tower, I would have likely been swept away by the explosion. I suppose some would consider me lucky...
  • Noah: Now, I'm the only one who knows what happened that night. That's why... I must take revenge.
  • Clamor: Mm, revenge...? I agree they are despicable. A devil in disguise...! The Goddess will surely show her wrath!
  • Clamor: That works out for me as well. Let's find this flower and go look for the Order right away!
  • Noah: Alright. That's the reason I woke up, after all.
  • Noah: I'm glad you and I share the same goal. Once we find the Moonflower, lead me to the Order's headquarters.
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Clamor: ...... Um.
  • Noah: Hm?
  • Clamor: Errr?
  • Noah: Eh?
  • Clamor: You don't... know? Where they are located?
  • Noah: The location I know... is not available now. You must know a place. I thought we could try there.
  • Clamor: Um... I don't. Actually. Know a place, that is. I told you, I'm from a thousand years ago, and I just woke up.
  • Clamor: I suppose their old place is somewhere in Elrianode, but since Elrianode was sealed for a long time...
  • Clamor: Their new headquarters obviously exists somewhere else. And how should I know where that is?
  • Noah: Sigh... You seemed to know what you were talking about...
  • Clamor: Hey! That's because... you said you were chasing the Order! I just naturally assumed you'd know!
  • Clamor: Wait, didn't you also gain consciousness around the same time I did? How did you know so much about this time period?
  • Noah: I... never mind that!
  • Noah: Sigh... I thought something would change, but if this goes on, nothing will...
  • Noah: Am I not able to change anything on my own...?
  • Clamor: Hm... Hey, kid? It seems the Order from my time, and the Order from your time, are actually the same despite how much time has passed.
  • Clamor: Even the one that exists now. That's why you're still chasing them, right? Because you think they're the same group.
  • Noah: .......
  • Clamor: I'm trying to say that it's not too late. Even though their whereabouts are still unknown, you have me now.
  • Clamor: I may be useless now, but I might remember something useful along the way.
  • Clamor: Now that there's two of us, we should be two times more effective than before!
  • Noah: ... It's not that simple, is it?
  • Noah: But... You're right. Whether or not there's enough evidence to go by, this is still something I must do.
  • Clamor: Mmhm. Not that I have a choice in the matter, since I'm stuck with you, kid.
  • Noah: I can leave you here if you have a problem with that.
  • Clamor: ...Let's go, partner! To defeat Henir's Order!
  • Noah: Sigh...

After meeting with Titania again, Noah hands over the flowers he collected. Titania's polite, yet cool behavior doesn't stir anything as Noah decides to move along.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Noah: It was surprisingly easy to find these flowers. This should be enough, right?
  • Clamor: I think so, Kid. Considering how many people were at the camp, this should be enough when Titania brings her share.
  • Noah: ... My name is Noah.
  • Clamor: Yes? And I'm Clamor.
  • Noah: ... I'm not asking for an introduction. I mean, why are you calling me, kid?
  • Noah: I'm not a kid.
  • Clamor: The young are the only ones who don't want to look young.
  • Noah: ... You're not going to stop calling me kid.
  • Clamor: Oh, I see Titania coming this way. Is she alright? It looks like she's injured.
  • Titania: Finally. I was looking for you.
  • Noah: What happened? Your leg...
  • Titania: Oh... I made a wrong turn earlier. They struggled harder than I expected. I took care of it.
  • Titania: Now, please give me the flowers.
  • Noah: But you're injured... wouldn't it be better if I...
  • Titania: Oh, it's just a stain. I'm not injured. Don't worry about it.
  • Noah: .......
  • Noah: If you say so... Here you go.
  • Titania: Thank you so much. I wish I could reward you in some way... But as you know, I have patients to take care of.
  • Noah: It's fine, I don't want to be a bother.
  • Titania: You're leaving? Do you know where you're headed?
  • Noah: ... No, not yet.
  • Titania: I see. It was nice meeting you. I won't forget your assistance today. Goodbye.
  • Noah: .......
  • Clamor: ...Huh. Something seems odd about that one. Maybe we should follow her?
  • Noah: No. I doubt she'd want us to anyway.
  • Clamor: But we didn't say goodbye to that girl, Yuria. She might feel disappointed that you left so suddenly.
  • Noah: She has something more important to take care of. Her family is sick... And I don't like being around people anyway.
  • Clamor: For a kid, you sure sound like an old man sometimes. Don't you want to help them?
  • Noah: ... Let's go. We have no time to waste.
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Clamor: Kid.
  • Noah: Pant... pant... pant...
  • Clamor: Hey, you stubborn old kid. I'm not going to go away just because you pretend to not hear me.
  • Noah: ... Shut up...
  • Clamor: You've been walking without rest for a while now. I don't think you're built for this kind of exercise anyway. Why are you in such a hurry?
  • Clamor: I guess that doesn't matter. You should really take a rest. You're going to collapse at this rate.
  • Noah: I should be... fine. This is nothing new... And we will be late if we don't move now.
  • Clamor: Nothing new...? Never mind that. You really need to take a break. Your walk is becoming steadily more unstable.
  • Clamor: I told you we should have visited the camp!
  • Noah: And I'm telling you, I'm fine! Who are you to tell me I'm not!
  • Clamor: It's obvious that you're not! You can't even grip the handle properly anymore. Just find a shade and take a breather, won't you?!
  • Clamor: If you don't, I'm just going to keep talking. Unlike you, I can't get tired because I don't actually have a mouth!
  • Noah: Why did I decide to remove the seal for this...
  • Clamor: Your eyes start drooping... you feel more and more relaxed as you hear the rustling leaves... The tree calls to you, inviting you under its shade...
  • Noah: You always do whatever you want. Are you sure you're not a demonic weapon?
  • Clamor: Yes, I'm so wonderfully evil, that I care about your health and well-being. Where would you find such a fantastical weapon?
  • Noah: ...How are you so calm? Didn't you wake up into an unfamiliar world as well? Everyone you knew is gone.
  • Noah: Aren't you worried? Scared? Nervous?
  • Clamor: .......
  • Clamor: ... Of course. I'm only mortal. I'm worried... nervous too. I can't help but think, why me? I also have a lot of regrets.
  • Clamor: If only I could go back in time, I would make a different decision. I get that.
  • Clamor: But you can't stay worried all the time. That's depressing, and keeps you on edge far too long.
  • Clamor: Everything bad seems like it's your fault, and any positive feedback just sounds like empty compliments.
  • Noah: .......
  • Clamor: From my experience, it's best to focus on something else when you feel like this. And for me, that's learning about this brand new world I've woken up to.
  • Clamor: I'm sorry if I bothered you with my enthusiasm. But, you know what they say, if you can't avoid it, enjoy it, right?
  • Clamor: I thought, rather than focusing on being lost in an unknown world, I should be excited about the second chance at life I've obtained
  • Noah: ... I wasn't bothered.
  • Clamor: That's good. Anyway, I'm surprised to find you're so insecure! I was having fun teasing you, because you were acting all stuck-up.
  • Noah: I did not!
  • Clamor: Mm hm. If you say so. You can cry in my arms if it gets too overwhelming. I understand.
  • (CLANG)
  • Noah: I'm going somewhere quiet where I can rest alone.
  • Clamor: Hey, wait a minute.
  • Clamor: Heeeey! Take me with you! What am I supposed to do if you leave me by myself!

Exhausted after being on the move, Noah dreams about Harque when he falls asleep. It's a dream he had several times already.

  • Harque: Noah. Noah?
  • Harque: You were sweating a lot as you were sleeping. I'm sorry, did you wait? My lessons ended late. I should have told you...
  • Young Noah: I'm ok... I didn't wait that long.
  • Harque: You're not upset I'm late...? I'm sorry. I'll make sure to be on time next time.
  • Young Noah: No! I was just... sad. You're always late because of your training. I know there's no helping it...
  • Young Noah: Why didn't the Goddess fix the El completely? If she's omnipotent, why does she make it so that we need the El Lady and the El Masters?
  • Harque: ...I believe it's because the Goddess wishes us, humans, to make a better world for ourselves.
  • Harque: The Primal El led to envy, dispute, and divide. However... now that the El is unstable, everyone is finally helping each other, making up for each other's weaknesses.
  • Harque: In order to have the will to create a better world than the complete world we were given.
  • Young Noah: ...I don't think I have that kind of will...
  • Harque: Huhu, what are you saying? You waited this long to wait for me, didn't you?
  • Young Noah: This is nothing. It's nothing special!
  • Harque: But I'm happy you waited for me, Noah. You don't need special qualifications to lend someone a hand.
  • Harque: You just need the desire to help. Anyone can do it. Even you, Noah.
  • Young Noah: ... Ok.
  • Young Noah: ... It's ok even if you're late Harque. I can wait for you.
  • Harque: Huhu, thank you. But I won't be going back. You forgot that I died.
  • Young Noah: ... Harque... Harque?
  • Harque: You didn't remember the real me.
  • Young Noah: No... No! I did not forget. It wasn't like that... Don't go! You can't go!
  • Clamor: ...ah, ...Noah!
  • Clamor: Noah? Wake up!
  • Noah: ... Harque... Mmm...
  • Clamor: Are you awake? I was going to let you sleep in, but you seemed to be having a nightmare.
  • Noah: Yeah... It's been a while since...
  • Noah: Wait a second, how are you right next to me? I thought I left you over there!
  • Clamor: Ha! I moved here all by myself!
  • Noah: You can move on your own? Then why didn't you, all this time?
  • Clamor: It's not that I didn't, rather I couldn't. I think the problem was that I was trying to move a human body, when I should have tried moving as an artifact.
  • Clamor: When I tried different methods, I was able to move, albeit just a little. I really can't move much, since I am a weapon, mind you.
  • Clamor: But! At least you can't threaten to throw me away or leave me behind!
  • Clamor: You're stuck with me until I get my body back.

Description

Noah and Clamor share what they were wondering about each other's story.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Noah: Come to think of it, didn't you say the Order requested you create an artifact? What did they want you to create?
  • Clamor: Artificial spirits. More precisely, a blueprint to create an incubator to allow creation of multipurpose artificial spirits. I know, it's a mouthful.
  • Clamor: Artificial spirits are, at the core, aggregation of magic. They cannot maintain the shape on their own, so they end up scattering. So, you give them a capsule as a 'body'.
  • Clamor: If you connect that to a device and give orders, they can move on their own. It's mindless, repetitive work, but the device was created to help out where it's tricky or even dangerous for humans to implement.
  • Clamor: It's like me, actually. An artifact that can be used semi-permanently. Kind of ironic that I'm stuck in a capsule made for an artificial spirit.
  • Noah: It sounds like a tool that exploits spirits.
  • Clamor: It's really not. Artificial spirits are not actually living beings. For example, you may consider fire spirits as a living being, but not fire itself.
  • Clamor: Artificial spirit is just a name to help an average person understand better. It's actually closer to elemental magic with the addition of implementing spirits' behavioral patterns.
  • Noah: I still don't understand. How does this all work?
  • Clamor: Mm... In one of my earlier successes... There was an auto-sweeping broom using the artificial spirit of wind.
  • Noah: ... It's rather plain, considering the grandiose theory behind it. What about others?
  • Clamor: A lamp that lights itself when someone approaches.
  • Noah: Do your own chores!
  • Clamor: Sigh... The three greatest innovation in technology is lightness, diversity, and high-performance. Of course YOU wouldn't understand, kid.
  • Noah: You just made it because you're too lazy to do them yourself. I bet the floor was the only thing clean in your house.
  • Clamor: You say it as if you're seen it yourself... You're right. A task of cleaning or turning on the lights is nothing special for an average individual.
  • Clamor: But what if you're missing an arm or a leg? Those ordinary chores would become exponentially more difficult.
  • Clamor: Even those without disabilities would find these tasks hard to accomplish if you are very young, or very old. I bet you couldn't do certain things when you were younger and shorter, hm?
  • Noah: Well... Yes...
  • Clamor: When I was younger, there was a fire every two months or so. It usually started because someone made a mistake when lighting a lamp.
  • Clamor: Those mistakes were often made by those who were old with shaking arms, or children who had a hard time reaching the lamps.
  • Clamor: So I thought, if there are so many accidents that happen, trying to light a lamp, why not remove the process completely and let magic handle it?
  • Noah: ...I never thought of it like that... To fix things that way.
  • Clamor: Of course, these tasks are easy with magic or servants, but not everyone is blessed like that.
  • Clamor: Everyone selects tools according to their needs. The wider the selection of tools, the more convenience there is for the people.
  • Clamor: As a magitech scholar, it is my job to solve even the most trivial problems. Well, at least, that's one aspect of it. Do you get it now?
  • Noah: ... I heard something similar. That the Goddess gave us the will to cover each other's weaknesses in order to create a complete world.
  • Noah: What you made, it somehow reminded me of it. It may have nothing to do with each other but...
  • Clamor: You're right. Covering flaws and enhancing strengths is the foundation in the field of magitech.
  • Clamor: It's really a perfect way to describe it. Who told you?
  • Noah: ...Someone I respect the most.
  • Clamor: How about you respect me for inventing devices that help many people?
  • Noah: ... Why did the Order need a device like that? Surely, they weren't thinking about the betterment of humanity.
  • Clamor: Changing the topic, I see? I'm so proud of you. You're taking to my lessons like a duck to water.
  • Noah: You're ridiculous.
  • Clamor: Mm, well... The Order said they were going to use the invention for good. On the surface.
  • Noah: On the surface...
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Clamor: So, tell me... about Harque.
  • Noah: ...Why do you ask?
  • Clamor: Just curious. I swear it's not because a kid was desperately crying out his name.
  • Noah: Ugh... You can just say you've heard me.
  • Clamor: You said Harque was the candidate for the Moon Master, right? Do El Masters usually come from the same family?
  • Noah: Not always. A family that produces the El Master gains great influence, so other families are also desperate to train their own candidates.
  • Noah: But, abilities are, in large part, inherited. And families that already produced El Masters have the know-how, so certain families often end up producing multiple El Masters.
  • Clamor: Great influence to the family with the El Master? I can only imagine how desperate people became to have El Masters appointed from their own families with a system like that.
  • Noah: ...I heard the appointments were not always made... justly.
  • Noah: But... Harque was different. He was aware of his own limits, but trained harder than anyone, researching endlessly to overcome his weakness.
  • Noah: The Moon Master needs to use both the power of the Moon, and the power of Darkness. For someone like Harque... who had a low tolerance to the dark element, it wasn't an easy challenge.
  • Noah: But he went through excruciating hardship to train, and passed the trials to become the next Moon Master. There was no one like him before.
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: If it weren't for the Order... If the Order did not take away his life and opportunity, he would have been the greatest Master there ever was. He was... someone like that.
  • Clamor: He was a hard worker. He sounds amazing.
  • Noah: Yeah. And... he was a great brother.
  • Noah: He told me to help others. He believed that I could.
  • Noah: ... I don't think I could have been the kind of person to meet his expectations, even without the Order ruining my life.
  • Clamor: Why do you think that?
  • Noah: I'm not a hard worker like Harque, nor was I born with the abilities. There's a limit to what I can do, no matter how hard I try.
  • Noah: I wanted to be someone who could support him by his side... But even that is a dream that can no longer be achieved.
  • Noah: I was lucky I could help Yuria this time. Even that was a failure when I did it the first time...
  • Clamor: First time? Failure?
  • Noah: ...Never mind, I was thinking about something else.
  • Clamor: Hm... Alright. To me, it sounds like you're demeaning yourself.
  • Clamor: You're thinking too much. What you did, was a great help to those at the camp. Have some confidence!
  • Noah: It's just a few flowers...
  • Clamor: It may not have been a big deal for you, but it was just what they needed. That's all there is to it.
  • Noah: ... That was enough rest. Let's go.
  • Clamor: I'll let you go this time, kid. Since you're so embarrassed.
  • Noah: I'm telling you... I'm not a kid.

Quest Acceptance Dialogue
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: We're almost there.
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: ... Hey?
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: Cla... Clamor! Say something!
  • Clamor: ...Mm?
  • Clamor: Wha? I must have fallen asleep.
  • Noah: You scared me!
  • Clamor: You're telling me. I didn't think I'd need to sleep in this body.
  • Clamor: Actually. it was as if I was slowly losing consciousness. I thought I was dying again.
  • Noah: Don't say something like that. I was wondering why you were so quiet...
  • Clamor: Anyway, where are we? Why are we here?
  • Noah: Somewhere a so-called scholar like you, can make use of your knowledge.
  • Noah: It's swarming with monsters unlike last time, so I don't think anyone's been here yet. Maybe we can find something.
  • Clamor: .......
  • File:Story Quest Icon - .png Guard: CLICK, CLACK...
  • Clamor: A golem? Something special hiding in this place?
  • Noah: It's a sentry guarding the manor that is now in ruins.
  • Clamor: I was thinking... Kid, how do you know all this? You're acting like you've experienced this before.
  • Noah: ... You're not wrong. I know because I've done it before.
  • Noah: Last time I didn't find anything because it was after someone else already stopped by.
  • Clamor: What... Didn't you wake up around the same time as I did?
  • Noah: .......
  • Noah: When I woke up in the temple for the first time, I missed every opportunity because everything was unfamiliar and terrifying. I couldn't save Yuria, nor the camp... and I didn't meet you.
  • Noah: I wandered for a long time without any information, until one day when I thought I should investigate this place. But when I came, it was too late, and I couldn't find anything.
  • Noah: I think this time, I was able to meet you and Yuria because I didn't miss the opportunity. So maybe I can learn more from this place as well.
  • Clamor: Are you... saying you've experienced all this before? You're living the same timeline twice?
  • Noah: It's fine if you don't believe me. I don't understand what's going on either. Maybe I lost my mind.
  • Noah: One thing's for certain... 'This' time is not the same as 'last' time.
  • Noah: Just like how I've saved Yuria by facing the monsters without hesitating... I might arrive at a better outcome sooner.
  • Clamor: .......
  • Noah: As I said, you don't have to believe me. If you don't, I'd rather you don't force yourself.
  • Clamor: ... Suppose what you say is true. How did it end the first time?
  • Noah: ...... I managed to take revenge, technically.
  • Clamor:' Technically' you say.......
Quest Completion Dialogue
  • Noah: What happened to the sentry?
  • Clamor: It stopped operating. Good job. You seemed to have more trouble than you did with the monsters... Are you alright?
  • Noah: Yeah. Last time, it was already dealt with, by someone else. I was able to predict how the monsters would fight because I encountered them before.
  • Noah: This is the manor. The door was open last time, but it's closed this time.
  • Noah: ...... Ugh, it won't budge like it's stuck. How did the person before me open it?
  • Clamor: ...Kid? Can you check the floor in front of the door for me? I see something, but it's covered with moss.
  • Noah: Hold on...
  • Noah: ... How's this? This symbol... I saw similar symbols in the manor. Is this an ancient scripture?
  • Clamor: Lift me up so I can take a look. Hm...
  • Clamor: It's sealed using magic. Someone was trying to stop whatever it is inside from getting out.
  • Clamor: It won't be easy to open without the necessary password whether you're inside or out.
  • Noah: But someone definitely managed to get in last time.
  • Clamor: You said the door was open, right? Then... It's probably not through using the password like they were supposed to.
  • (...... ......CLAK!)
  • (CREEEEEAK-)
  • Noah: How did you do that?
  • Clamor: The spell was loosened. It was old, and something disturbed it, so it was easier to break it, than trying to solve it.
  • Clamor: But I broke the spell, so the door won't function properly anymore. Good thing we defeated all those monsters on the way.
  • Noah: Is it supposed to be that easy?
  • Clamor: How about a thank you for this genius magician?
  • Noah: ... Come to think of it, Yuria said strange things happened to the ruins when the Large El was restored. Is that when this spell was disturbed as well?
  • Clamor: Hello? A simple thank you would suffice??
  • Noah: Let's go inside. I hope we manage to find something useful this time.
  • Clamor: Sigh, I should have known not to ask for simple courtesy with this kid.
