Tips and Details

You are not required to actually switch or hit an enemy to gain the benefits of either Lu or Ciel switching skills.
The base job exclusion also applies to the skill's MP reduction effect, not just the ability to stack the buff.

Trivia

Id in psychoanalytic theory is the instinctive and unconscious desires of the mind, fitting Lu's lack of conscious self after splitting her soul a second time. The buff is similarly named after one of its aspects.
- The NA server curiously capitalizes the term, making it look like the entirely unrelated abbreviation for "identification", commonly used for terms such as a User ID. Considering EGO is also capitalized, this is more of a stylistic choice, albeit one that's rather easy to misinterpret.
